  Weil Ihr gefragt habt und ich es inzwischen - so hoffe ich - auch verst?lich genug erkl?n kann, einige Zeilen zur Begr?ng, warum ich mein Weblog schlie?:
  ]]> Vorweg: Ja, es geht mir gut. Es geht mir sogar sehr gut. Zum Verst?nis mag ein Auszug aus meinem Newsletter vom 31. Dezember helfen:

  Liebe Kunden, Kollegen, Freunde, Leser, Unbekannte,

  das sind meine letzten Zeilen f?ieses Jahr. Es gibt einen kurzen R?lick auf 2006 und einen Ausblick auf das, was im kommenden Jahr kommen wird.

  2006 war das erfolgreichste Jahr meines kleinen Gesch?s. "Erfolgreich" waren dabei nicht blo?die Finanzen - obwohl ich auch ? die sehr froh bin. Es ist vor allem das Jahr, in dem ich wirklich herausgefunden habe, was ich eigentlich tun will und wo ich am wirkungsvollsten bin. Es ist ein Jahr mit einer ganz anderen Betrachtung auf Klientenbeziehungen und mit Entwicklungen in diesen Beziehungen, die ich nicht f??ch gehalten h?e. Es ist ein Jahr voller wertvoller Arbeit und gl?icher Momente. Es ist ein Jahr, in dem ich viele ?gste verloren habe. Ich danke Ihnen daf?

  Was steht nun im kommenden Jahr an? Ich habe drei Dinge vor:

  Das erste kennen Sie schon: Ich werde weiter Organisationen dabei helfen, zu verstehen, was gerade im Internet passiert, was das f?ie bedeutet und wie sie es nutzen k?n. Das ist gute und eintr?iche Arbeit, aber sp?stens seit diesem Jahr nicht mehr der Kern von dem, was ich tue:

  Wichtiger und im n?sten Jahr intensiver ist und wird meine Arbeit als Organisationsberater und Unternehmensentwickler im Umfeld von Innovationsf?gkeit und Wissensmanagement. Diese Arbeit hat sich in diesem Jahr oft aus Anfragen aus dem ersten Bereich entwickelt: Aus Fragestellungen wie "wie k?n wir Weblogs nutzen?" kamen meine Kunden und ich dazu, zu fragen, warum die Organisation eigentlich auf externe Hilfe angewiesen war, um solche Innovationsthemen anzugehen. So entwickelten wir dann gemeinsam Projekte, um die Organisationen in die Lage zu bringen, selbstst?ig mit Ver?erungen umzugehen und innovativ zu sein. Oft kombinieren wir auch beide Teile: Auf der einen Seite helfe ich mit, zu aktuellen Internet/"Web 2.0"-Entwicklungen auf den aktuellen Stand zu kommen - die kurzfristige Probleml?g - , auf der anderen Seite arbeiten wir daran, dass die Organisation bei k?igen Entwicklungen nicht mehr auf mich oder andere externe Berater angewiesen ist - das ist der Teil, der langfristig wichtig ist.

  Als dritter Teil kommt im n?sten Jahr die Beratung f?ndere Berater hinzu: (...)

  Was viele von Euch, die sich um mich sorgen, ?sehen haben, ist, dass das hier nur ein kleines, pers?ches Weblog einer Person ist, die noch viel mehr ist als "Blogger", Berater oder "Weblog-Experte". Ich habe einen Beruf: Ich bin Unternehmer und Unternehmensberater. Davon ist "Blogberatung" ein nicht unwesentlicher Teil und daran ist wiederum das E-Business Weblog nicht unwesentlich dran Schuld. Aber es gibt da noch 98 weitere Prozent.

  Indem ich dieses Weblog schlie?, gewinne ich Zeit, die ich in andere Dinge stecken kann. In neue Projekte, neues Gesch?liches, neues Privates.

  Die Schlie?ng hat nichts mit einer grunds?lichen Perspektive auf Weblogs zu tun. Ich halte Weblogs weiter f?ichtig und glaube nachwievor, dass wir noch lange nicht gesehen habe, was alles in den M?chkeiten des pers?chen Publizierens im Netz steckt. Auch f?eine Perspektive auf Weblogs f?on und mit Unternehmen ?ert das nichts. Allerdings: Weblogs an sich sind mir unwichtiger geworden. Mich interessiert die Handlungsf?gkeit von Menschen und Organisationen mehr. Deshalb bin ich auch kein "Blogberater", sondern Organisationsberater oder manchmal Coach und Mentor.

  Ich will ein paar neue Dinge machen. Daf?rauche ich ein wenig Abstand vom Netz, ein wenig Zeit und ein paar Gespr?e, in denen das Wort "Blog" garantiert nicht vorkommt.

While you’re building a home based you may give in to the temptation to hire a family member. This may or may not work out well. If the family member you’ve hired to help you in building a home Internet turns out to not have the necessary skills, experience, interest, dedication or perhaps even ethics, to work for you what do you do then? How on earth do you fire a family member?

The first thing to keep in mind is that whether it’s part of building a home Internet or a well-established multi-faceted large firm, firing a family member seldom goes anything but badly. Sometimes it even ends up in court with one family member suing another.

We read about such goings on in corporations almost on a daily basis. This is something you want to avoid. You want to focus on building a home Internet – not on getting litigious with your brother, mom, aunt, uncle or cousin.

Handling this familial firing correctly means not only keeping the family peace but keeping your home Internet on the right track. A basic principle of hiring family members to help you in building a home Internet is that they know right from the start that they will be held to a higher standard than any other employee. Why? Because they are family and because that familial relationship should bring with it a more personal sense of dedication and commitment to your success. Another important factor, should you have to fire a family member, is to do it clearly and quickly. Don’t drag it out.

Make sure that the fired family member is clear about the details of the reasons, and draft a clear and consistent statement that you give to all others involved – family, employees, vendors, and other associates affected by the termination.

Building your home Internet has to take top priority but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice family relationships to do so. You can terminate a family member without ruining the good relationships you have with your family. The best way to accomplish this is to offer at least one verbal followed by two written warnings, and then a documented written notice of termination. Prior to writing it up as a firing, however, offer the familial employee the chance to resign. You might offer a severance package that is face-savingly attractive, or perhaps let her or him continue as a contractor or supplier. Letting family members walk out your home Internet door is about building a new bridge that will save him or her some dignity.

What you must keep in mind is that if you are committed to building a home Internet business, the must come before the family relationship. After all, isn’t one of the primary points of your to take care of your family?
